frequently asked questions

During a project, we will primarily communicate through emails. We can discuss upfront what works best for you and see what would be the best fit. Project milestones and presentations can be via phone or Skype. If you’re a local Marylander, let’s meet for coffee and talk design!

Yes. There are a few things that you’ll need ready to go by an agreed upon deadline or start date. This helps keep things moving smoothly.

Content can include/but not limited to:
– Completed Design Questionnaire (This will be fun!)
– Business Name
– Hi-res imagery (if applicable)
– Copy for all deliverables (print/marketing collateral, website, etc.)

After filling out this form, I will be in touch within 3 business days to setup a call to chat. This is where we will dive into the project details and I can answer any questions you may have and vise versa.

From here, I will send over a project proposal for you to review based on the scope of work discussed. I want to make sure we are both on the same page, and that all project goals are finalized and in place. This will ensure we are working together with a clear message, vision, and mission.

A signed contract and a payment of a 30% deposit will secure your spot in the queue. I book projects several weeks ahead of time. Scheduling ensures that I give your project the thoughtful and dedicated time it deserves. This deposit is nonrefundable to honor the time set aside just for you.

Brand designs are typically completed between 3-5 weeks. Other projects including a custom website design, can take between 8-10 weeks. Each project is slightly different, but you’ll always know what is happening every step of the way.

No. You will need to purchase a hosting plan and Domain separately. This is something we will go over during our consultation.

With that said, Little Orange Studio is not responsible for software issues or any compatibility issues that may arise after the launch of the site from your hosting or domain provider.

Depending on the project, I offer fixed-price design packages and also have an hourly rate. Most projects range from 1,500 to $4,000. Would you like to see a custom quote? Get in touch!

I hope so! I want to collaborate with you, tell your story, and see your business succeed. After taking a look at my work and reading the FAQ’s, I hope you have a better sense of my design style and process. As much as I love working with new clients, I understand that it isn’t always a perfect match or our processes may not sync. If you’re interested, but unsure– please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to learn more about what you’re looking for. I may also be able to refer another designer who could be a better match for the job!
