RAWISH

behind the brand

RAWish is really a perfect culmination of what owners and spouses, James and Taneea have committed their lives to – healthy affordable food for everyone. The two went vegan in 2018 after Taneea was diagnosed with cancer. A plant-based diet is what kept her fueled and aided tremendously in her recovery. They started their first business, Gangster Vegan, while she was undergoing treatment. In 2021, now cancer-free, they opened RAWish in D.C.’s Western Market food hall. Their story is as real and raw as the food they serve.

It was truly a privilege to be a part of bringing this brand to life. The icon was inspired by the RAWish mission and values while establishing a homegrown feel with a nod to the roots for their first location in Washington D.C.

VISUAL DIRECTION

Here’s what RAWish had to say about Little Orange Studio:

“Our favorite part of our new branding is our logo. I had a lot of anxiety around this area, since I had never created one before and the phased approach REALLY works for me. Our new logo is catchy, yet sleek and I think it will play extremely well with our audience.”
